JMA Overview 
John Matthews & Associates, Inc. was established in 1970 as a power, lighting, and signal system design firm for a wide range of building types, including industrial plants, hospitals, shopping centers, office high-rises, multi-family high-rises, and nursing homes. From 1970 through 1991, the company acted as the engineer of record on more than 3000 projects in over 30 states and helped clients with power quality issues.
 
In the early 1990s, the company extended its activities to include forensic engineering and legal services, as well as educational and training seminars and workshops.
