Dr. Tammy L. Gammon, P.E., is a Senior Electrical Engineer for John Matthews and Associates, Inc. She is a registered professional electrical engineer in the State of North Carolina.  Her expertise lies in arcing faults and in analyzing power systems and electrical components.  Tammy has published a number of technical papers and taught a range of courses.  From 2006 through 2014, she was the Research Manager for the IEEE/NFPA Arc Flash Research Project.

Mary B. Matthews is the Business Manager and Secretary/Treasurer of John Matthews & Associates, Inc.  She received both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is a member the business honorary society, Beta Gamma Sigma.

Dr. John H. Matthews, P.E., is the President of John Matthews and Associates, Inc.  He is a registered professional electrical engineer in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. John also holds a NCEES Certificate.  His achievements demonstrate his service to the profession and his commitment to engineering education.  John was named Georgia Electrical Industry Man of the Year in 1996.  He received Tennessee Technological University's Engineer of Distinction Award in 1998.  He is a past chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) IAS Chapter in Atlanta.

John has authored a number of technical papers as well as a textbook on the design and analysis of building electrical systems.  Since 1989, he has served as a part-time professor of electrical engineering at Georgia Tech.  He was named Outstanding ECE Teacher of the Year (1994) and Region 3 Outstanding IEEE Student Branch Counselor (2001).  He is currently a member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Committee at Tennessee Technological University.
